The Oasis:
A strange thing happens when
you enter NWC’s youth group, you are accepted just like you are
and join with you as you journey through the metamorphism of who you
will become in Christ.
As I read the Gospels I find very little attention
being paid by Jesus concerning who people had been [not to say He did
not know or care but] He was always focused who they were in that
moment and who they could become in their future – such it should
be with us. You see, there really are none among us who are perfect but
we are learning to quit looking backwards and to strain forward to take
hold of that thing which Christ Jesus has already taken hold of us.
(Philippians 3: 12-14)
As a youth group we also see that we need to help each other carry one
another’s burdens. It is not easy these days and we are to be
encouragers to each other in all the journeys we walk.

As you can see from
our goofy pictures we have a lot of fun in this youth group. We play
games, have activities, and we are also planning a lock in if we can
get 12 people. 12 people!!! That is all we need to have this fun
activity!!
We don't only have fun in our youth group we also have a lesson every
Sunday on a bible verse our youth pastor Will Swanson will talk, we
will listen, then we discuss what he talked about. Who would have
thought you could have this much fun in a youth group with also
learning about the lord in our own way!! So come and join our youth
group The Oasis. You might just have fun!
